Banking

IEP will assist you in opening a local bank account. The only bank that allows students to open accounts without a social security card is First National Bank of Oxford. FNB will allow you to obtain a debit card free of charge, and you can also purchase a check book. Please note that this is a local bank and not a nationwide branch.

Payment to the University of Mississippi can be made by:
› Master Card or Visa Card
› Checks
› Money Orders
› Traveller Checks

Please note that American Express is not accepted.
